Job Title: Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant

Salary: £28,153 pro rata. £19,047 per annum

Hours: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Contract:  Permanent

Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant.

As Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant, you will be required to support the wellbeing and personal development of the pupils at Rose Hill Primary School.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Monitoring daily attendance
  • Working with parents to provide support where necessary
  • Perform the duties of Medical Lead
  • Co-ordinated external early help
  • Managing referrals and record keeping
  • Support pupils to have a healthy therapeutic balance

You will have.

  • Experience in a pastoral, counselling, or similar role within an education setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • The ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking.
  • Understand the need to always maintain professional confidentiality.
  • Good English and Mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above).
